About me

I'm Jack Simcox, a dedicated professional in post-production with aspirations to excel in the filmmaking industry. My fascination with film and visual effects began in childhood, inspired by creating Doctor Who shorts with my brother in our backyard. Through self-study, I've become proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Nuke, Blender, and Maxon Cinema 4D, enabling me to produce compelling 3D animations and images.

I also have a deep appreciation for fine art and landscape photography, which has honed my eye for composition and aesthetics. My practical experience includes managing the technical aspects of a live-streamed virtual event at Wrekin College, showcasing my ability to handle production challenges effectively.

My goal is to grow into a creative director role at a leading organization like The Mill, where I can leverage my skills and passion for storytelling. I am always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities to expand my skill set and share my work with a broader audience. This website is designed to highlight my projects and facilitate connections with potential collaborators who share my interest in innovative visual storytelling.
